Dual-Ubiquitous Display (D-UD) is a robot equipped with a pan-tilt projector on a mobile mechanism that can move in all directions, and D-UD uses this mechanism to provide more flexible visual information support.
In the recent information society, the means of acquiring information have become diverse. Since it is difficult for users to search for information, it is necessary for information providers to approach users. D-UD was developed to attract customers by generating its own map information of the indoor floor environment, guiding users based on that information, and effectively projecting advertisements. In this research, we are developing new functions of D-UD by seeking more effective projection methods from various viewpoints, such as the approach method to the user as well as the position and angle of the screen projected by D-UD.
