Metaverse allows users to interact with others through avatars existing in a virtual space, which is compatible with entertainment using VR goggles and has attracted much attention in recent years. This research proposes a new type of metaverse, “R-Metaverse,” in which users interact with others through a robot controlled by VR goggles, and in the R-Metaverse, users can use spaces that are normally inaccessible, such as under the floor and under the ceiling, as play spaces. In addition, because the robot exists in a real space, the user’s experience is not limited to the person wearing the VR goggles, but can also interact with people who do not use VR devices. From these points of view, this study aims to propose R-Metaverse as a new form of entertainment.
